We have been thinking about instructions in Literacy. We learnt how they can be spoken or written and we use them all the time! We made a class ice cream sundae, which was great fun! We thought about what we needed and the order we had to make the sundae. Here are some photos to show you what we did.

We are now all settled in to year 1. We have been busy learning lots of things and are working hard. Here are some photos to show you what we have been up to!

Guess what it is?!

RB have been very busy this week. RB have been working hard on their Nelex model. Can you guess what it is?

During environment week RB have been busy making bird feeders and planting new flowers in the large plant pots outside. In class RB have been learning about 3D shapes, they enjoyed playing guessing games about shapes RB have also made patterns using various shapes and colours. In literacy RB read Jack and the Beanstalk, the children enjoyed discussing the story.

Jelly

RB have been busy making and playing with jelly. On Wednesday RB made strawberry, blackcurrant and orange flavoured jelly, and left it to set. On Friday RB enjoyed eating the orange flavoured jelly and played with the strawberry and blackcurrant flavoured jelly outside.
